Kai on 2/17/09
These pictures are not in any order by the way.
We got home from the hospital with Neely and Bevan on February 6. Bevan was discharged from Vanderbilt Children's Hospital on Feb 5 and Jeremy and I kept her in the room with Neely until she was discharged the next afternoon. We brought the girls home that day, but had to leave Kai there. This was one of the hardest things we have ever had to do. So the whole situation was bitter sweet because we had two babies but our family was just not complete because little brother was not home with us. Kai did not get to come home until Feb 13, one week later. This was the longest week ever!! We were very thankful to finally have power at home so thank you to all the people who worked hard to get our power working so we could come home with our babies. I have gotten behind on the blog because our internet service has been down and we just got that back. So.....here we go!
2/23/09 This is Bevan enjoying a nap in her swing after her bottle. She is now up to 70cc's!

2/23/09. This is Kai in his glider after his bottle. He is eating the same amount as Bevan 70 cc's even though he is almost a pound less than her!!
2/6/09. Bevan and Neely (with their nurse) all dressed up ready to leave the hospital and come home with their Mom and Dad.

2/6/09. Bevan cuddling with her daddy while I got Neely ready for bed. Neely and Bevan each slept in a pack-n-play in our bedroom. Bevan slept on Jeremy's side of the bed and Neely on mine. The room was kind of cramped!!! They did really good their first night home. We were wondering where the third pack-n-play will go when Kai gets home!! Once they get a little bigger they can sleep in their own beds in their nursery and we can use our video monitor that all our friends at Murray Primary Care bought for us!

2/12/09. Bevan and Neely hanging out between bottles!

2/12/09. Neely and Bevan all dressed up and cuddling with their daddy. We were waiting for the call from the hospital to see if could go and get Kai the next day. If he did okay through the night and the docs exam was good during rounds then he can come home. We got the OK shortly after and Jeremy and I packed up and headed to Nashville the next morning to get him!!

2/13/09. We just got home with Kai!! It feels so awesome to have all of our babies home!! As you can see, it is hard to hold onto them all now! (Kai, Bevan, Neely)

2/15/09. Now this is a pack-n-play full!! We had to check and see what the weight limit was before we let them all take a nap together!! They love being together!

2/10/09. All the babies in our papasan chair in the den. Grandma and Papa Wonnell came to visit so we put all the babies together for a picture. Kai did not like being on the bottom of his sisters! (Bevan, Kai, then Neely)
2/18/09. Neely sucking her thumb. We caught her! What is funny is that Bevan found her thumb the same day and we saw her sucking her thumb. We have not seen this since! I think we'll stick with the passy b/c they can be thrown away!!

2/22/09. Granna and Grammy came and spent the night and helped Mommy with baths. Jeremy was working at the firehouse. Bath night is a chore! There has to be atleast 3 people here at this time and we always do bottles after the bath. They usually sleep really good after baths. (Bevan, Kai, then Neely)

We hope you all enjoyed these pictures and we will try and update the blog sooner next time!! Three babies keep us VERY busy!! We use about a large pack of diapers a day, fix 18 bottles daily, wash atleast one load of baby clothes daily and usually take out a bag of trash daily also! It is amazing how we never stop!! And.....we do all of this on very little sleep. I usually average less than 4 hours a night! The Lord provides us with energy, strength, and desire to keep going and we cannot complain because look at what He has blessed us with!! Who could ask for more?
PLEASE remember that we are not allowed to have visitors at this time until May according to doctors' orders. We are only allowing our parents, grandparents, and siblings (no children) to visit now and even this is monitored and limited because of exposure to germs. Unfortunately the more people who visit and the frequency of visits increases the risk of sickness to our babies who are our #1!!! THANKS SO SO SO MUCH for all your prayers and concerns still! We love all of you and cannot wait to see you guys. Thanks for understanding and putting yourselves in our shoes!

LOOKS LIKE ALL THREE ARE AT HOME! How wonderful! I can't imagine...we had twins with a 23 month old at home, and I'll guess you're busier than we were! Have Ginger put you in touch w/ me if y'all want to ask any questions about vaccinations and autism.
I really enjoyed the pictures of the babies, I almost cried looking at the one of all 5 of you...the whole family back together, it must have been a very emotional week... having Kai still in the hospital. God Bless you and I will continue to pray for you all.
Love, Amy

How exciting to finally be home! We are continuing to pray for you and are so thankful to see how wonderful you all look. We've been wondering how you all were doing, especially with the ice storm situations. I can't imagine taking care of 3 at one time. We are waiting on our little one Andy who is due April 8th. Abby is so excited to see her baby. Thanks for the pics. They are precious!!
Love,
Tom, Teresa, Abby & coming soon..Andy Sullivan

Prayers are still with you all - we are so excited you are all home and doing well....praying that you survive being cooped up for three months until flu season is over!!!!
